Several of our customers depend on their phone for their livelihood.  They include mortgage brokers, mail order entrepreneurs, and similar businesses that operate completely by phone.  For these customers, the features and reliability of their phone is paramount.  For these customers, there is the 738R.

The 738 comes with a high quality ear mic that allows the user to communicate hands free in full duplex mode, an important feature for users on the phone most of the day.  The high capacity battery of the 738 offers an incredible 3 hours of talk time and 80 hour stand-by.  When the battery is low, the included 2 hour rapid charger gets the user talking again - fast.

Eavesdroppers, competitors, and anyone else desiring to listen on the user's sensitive phone conversation will have a more difficult time, thanks to the 738's built in scrambler.  This device makes it extremely difficult for anyone with a scanner to listen in on the conversation, and equally as difficult for those recording the conversation to decode it. 

Even with the scrambler, sound quality is excellent.  The 738 uses a compander, a sophisticated noise reduction device similar to Dolby(tm) that reduces the hiss in audio tapes.  The user will not notice a difference in sound quality between the 738 and any other high quality cordless phone. 

Other features include a 2 way intercom from the base station to the handset, 20 number memory, and more.  Additionally, the frequency on which this system operates follows the terrain.  This means line of sight conditions from the handset to the base antenna are not necessary. The 738 works well in mountainous areas, dips and valleys, and even coal mines (yes, we have a customer who uses his handset in a coal mine!).  The system functions equally well in open areas.  We do not recommend this phone for city use.  This package has been a long time favorite of our customers and it is easy to see why - Exceptional performance at an affordable price.
