This phone looks very similar to the commercial 900MHz cordless phones that are available throughout the USA. This feature rich phone is an excellent value! The range is up to 5km under ideal conditions (when used with the optional external antenna). The user will like the phone's liquid crystal display (10 digits with 7 symbols) and illuminated key pad. For convenience, the 525 offers a 10 number memory and last number redial. Callers will enjoy the music on hold capability, a built in feature not found in many phones! The 525 also makes use of a built in compander. This device reduces the "hiss" in the transmission, much like Dolby"! reduces the hiss on an audio tape.

Other advanced features include Multi-handset capability, selectable ring tones, and two way paging with duplex intercom. The 525 also incorporates a mute button, adjustable ring and voice volume, and low battery alarm (with battery power status display). And just in case all of these features are not enough, the 525 has auto answer and auto hang up, a programmable flash time, and paging music (select one of 9 different songs to play when paging the phone).
