TC-3000A 3000 WATTS STEP DOWN TRANSFORMER-CE APPROVED AND CERTIFIED

The TC-3000A is a heavy duty transformer used to provide continuous uninterrupted electricity to various appliances available at Sam Stores. The front of the unit has one grounded outlet which accepts 2 or 3 pronged US or Euro plugs. It is hardwired to a European Shucko plug for and also holds good for Asian outlets as well. It converts 220/240 volts down to 110/120 volts. The manufacturer has provided a fuse to safeguard against the risk of any fires in the case of short circuits. The appliance has a durable design and comes with a heavy duty chord. With a weight of 32 lbs it is a portable device.

  You should know that you will never damage your appliance with a higher wattage transformer, however if you buy one that is not powerful enough, it will not work. 

   

  Use Amps to calculate watts

   

  Volts (times) Amps = Watts,
  For Example 110V x 5A = 550W

   

  Remember to leave at least a 100% slack for the transformer. Using them to maximum capacity will eventually burn the transformer out after prolonged use. Some items, such as, laser printers and power tools spike when you turn them on. For these types of situations you need to buy a transformer that is at least 3 times the items capacity.
