The TC-3000D transformer provides a maximum capacity of up to 3000 watts. Whenever there is an electrical surge, it damages one or more appliances which are very useful for our day to day activities. However this is a heavy duty transformer which seeks to provide support to electrical appliances from a very safe perspective. It converts the high electrical voltage to normal and also increases the drop in electric current to the level that is required. The unit shuts off automatically when the input voltage is out of range. In fact the unit resets back automatically when the voltage is back in safe voltage range.

  Remember to leave at least a 100% slack for the transformer. Using them to maximum capacity will eventually burn the transformer out after prolonged use. Some items, such as, laser printers and power tools spike when you turn them on. For these types of situations you need to buy a transformer that is at least 3 times the items capacity.
