The SBS-2 is a 19 inch rack-mounted professional 1090 MHz Mode-A/C/S and ADS-B receiver that decodes transponder signals from aircraft. The SBS-2 can be purchased with options that allow monitoring of ground and airborne interrogation signals on 1030 MHz, a dual-redundancy package and full maintenance services.
The SBS-2 is designed to be used with OEM software applications but a special version of the Basestation software called Obelix is available designed specifically for the SBS-2.
The SBS-2 Airfield Lighting Controller (SBS-2ALC) and SBS-Q are also available. The SBS-Q is a mode-S/ADS-B receiver with unencrypted USB datafeed output. An ethernet interface is also available if required. The SBS-Q is supplied in a 19 inch 1U high rack-mount unit*.
