With a stroke length of 25 mm and up to 3,000 strokes per minute, the 18 V unit delivers a performance comparable with electric products. The high-power motor also allows for a max cutting capacity of 100 mm in wood and 6 mm in steel. Corded jigsaws have not only met their match on performance but also run time thanks to the new Ryobi Lithium+ class-leading battery range. Cutting 2" x 4" pine the 1.5 Ah batteries will give you up to 31 cuts per charge, and up to 80 cuts per charge with the 4.0 Ah*.

The new R18JS-0 jigsaw offers both accuracy and control. The easy-to-use Speed Match linear speed control can be operated one-handed. A single motion takes you from minimum to maximum speed. The tool is ideal for both right and left-handed users, meaning you have optimal control throughout all applications. The R18JS-0 has 4-stage pendulum action for an enhance cutting performance. Pendulum action is the movement back and forth the blade makes when cutting giving you the most efficient cut for each application. This 18 V jigsaw allows you to control this in 4 different modes, whilst the easy-to-read guide on the side of the jigsaw helps you to simply select the correct stage for the job at hand.
