The Bosch PSR 14.4 cordless drill/driver gives you an ease of use whether you are drilling or screwdriving work--with this practical tool you are really well equipped. In addition to the drill setting, you also have up to 10 different torque settings to choose from. So, depending on your needs, you can drill both powerfully and delicately. Bosch PSR cordless screwdrivers are recommended for longer overhead applications and larger diameters. Whether it be reconstruction work, repairs on a wooden patio or summerhouse or renovation work and repairs on fences in the garden, its range of applications is (virtually) unlimited.

Setting Ring

The Bosch PSR 14.4 comes with 10 pre-selectable torque settings for perfect control, plus drill setting for optimum power for every application. A large setting ring allows easy switching between drilling and screwdriving. With the correct setting, the screwdriver bit is stopped automatically as soon as the preset torque (tightness) is reached. Select a higher setting when removing screws, or select the ‘drilling’ symbol.

Keyless Chuck and Auto-Lock

The twin-sleeve keyless chuck allows tool-free easy changing of screwdriver and drill bits. The bits click audibly into place, ensuring a secure fit. When the on/off switch is not pressed, the drill spindle and tool holder are locked. This enables screws to be screwed in, even when the battery is empty and allows for the machine to be used as a screwdriver. The integrated Bosch Auto-Lock ensures that the machine locks the drill spindle at standstill, making it easy and convenient to open the keyless-chuck.

Intelligent Bosch Electronic

The run-out brake stops the PSR 14.4 motor in the shortest time possible, meaning no after-run. This is ideal for driving rows of screws, as you can work without interruption. Bosch Electronic allows speed control using the trigger switch with acceleration from 0-max. This allows for smooth pilot drilling followed by rapid drilling at full speed. The integrated PowerLight uses a built in LED which means the work piece is always well lit and clearly visible. The green direction LED shows whether the drill is in forward or reverse mode when drilling or screw driving.

Three Step Battery Charge-Control Indication

The battery charge-control indicator consists of three green LEDs, and indicates the charge condition of the battery for a few seconds when the on/off switch is pressed halfway or fully. The rechargeable NiCad battery is very quick to change. It provides high power output level and is capable of a large number of charging and discharging cycles.
